Course Details
The Information Technology (Artificial Intelligence) program at Charles Darwin University focuses on artificial intelligence and its effects in the modern world. You will explore the impacts of artificial intelligence in course and project work. Your studies will combine theory with practical activities giving you the opportunity to network with industry leaders.
The course has two study plan options : Study plan A and Study plan B.
The study plan A is designed for students without a background in computer science, information technology, information systems or equivalent. It consists of core units and specialist elective units. Students with non-IT background or IT background will be able to select this stream.
The study plan B is designed for students with a background in computer science, information technology, information systems or equivalent. It consists of core units, specialist elective units and a thesis research unit. Students with IT background will be able to select this stream.
The core units of this program will allow you to explore a range of artificial intelligence concepts. Specialist elective units will allow you to explore complementary areas of interest through additional coursework units, an industry placement unit or a research thesis unit.
