Overview
The Law, Economics and Governance program at University of Bologna trains professionals with interdisciplinary expertise in the fields of Law and Economics from an international perspective, by providing students with in-depth knowledge in European and international business law, digital market regulation, intellectual property management, corporate governance, innovation economics, and finance. Integration across disciplines is pursued through the development of soft skills and a focus on multi-faceted international case studies.
Learning Outcomes:
The programme has the following specific learning outcomes:
- know how to develop advanced, multidisciplinary and integrated understanding of key economic, financial and legal contexts;
- be able to analyse economic and financial data and information (economic indexes, forecasts, etc.);
- be able to perform economic, financial and legal research activities;
- know how to take advantage of career opportunities, acquiring competencies in the fields of finance, innovation, corporate law and market regulation;
- be able to apply methods to analyse and take complex decisions in international contexts;
- acquire the ability to communicate, perform research and analyse information in a global, multicultural environment;
- be able to critically assess the rigour and validity of information sources, and their relevance for organisational decisions;
- acquire abilities in the integrated application of economic, financial and legal theories and analytical techniques for managing organisational problems and opportunities;
- know how to critically evaluate the impact of rules on business transactions and profitability, where possible learning to select the most efficient ones using instruments, contractual clauses and corporate governance strategies

- possession of a DEGREE QUALIFICATION, i.e., a three-year university degree, diploma or another suitable qualification.
- satisfaction of CURRICULAR REQUIREMENTS: To be admitted it is necessary to hold an undergraduate degree in a related disciplinary field
- alternatively, to be admitted it is necessary to have achieved at least 42 ECTS in some specific scientific disciplinary areas (listed in the admission notice)
- satisfaction of LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS : knowledge of English to at least B2 level
