Overview

The Business Administration and Bioentrepreneurship MSc is a full-time two year (four semesters) programme at the Copenhagen Business School (CBS). You will take courses in advanced biology and learn the business tools and methods from business required to translate scientific research and patents into innovative products and viable business opportunities. The teaching draws on industry experts, high quality academic faculty, real life cases, insight into bio ventures, and a three month internship in one of Denmark’s leading life-science companies.

Career Opportunities

With a master’s degree in bioentrepreneurship you can manage the following tasks in Denmark as well as abroad:

Market analysis and planning
Valuation and finance
Innovation and IPR
Management of biotech companies regarding its finances, organisation and governance
Development of large sales and collaboration projects (business development)

Your educational background will be subject to an overall individual assessment in order to establish if your bachelor's degree qualifies you for the programme and the academic areas listed below are covered in full and as prescribed.

The specific entry requirements are min. 37.5 ECTS-points within the following areas:

Min. 15 ECTS-points within a biological system (plants, animals or microbiology)
Min. 15 ECTS-points within biochemistry/organic chemistry
Min. 7.5 ECTS-points within biotechnology methods (laboratory experience with molecular biology techniques)
