Learn how public policies and tax schemes can be designed to create the right incentives and nudges to bring important societal goals within reach.

You will become familiar with policy evaluation, programming policy scenarios, and analyzing the chain of action and reaction that policy invites.
You will gain insight into taxation, also from an international perspective, and labor market policy.

Career prospects

Upon graduating you will have obtained the following title (as stated on your diploma): Master of Science.

With a specialization in Public Policy, you can apply economic theories and models to important domestic policy issues; advising governments on how to achieve, design and finance these goals. These skills are perfect for a career as policy advisor in national governments or international organizations such as the EU; researcher in applied research institutes, or consultant within nationally or internationally oriented consultancy firms.
