This is for you, who want to:

deepen your practice and knowledge,
research and develop new forms of circus,
co-create a generative critical community with other artists, and
contribute to the dialogue/discussion in the contemporary art field.

As a Contemporary Circus Arts student at Stockholm University of Arts, you will explore provocations from the different courses through your own artistic practice and be encouraged to find tools to further your research. You will be challenged to develop advanced artistic and conceptual skills of relevance to the existing field of circus and be invited to extend and challenge perceptions of what circus can be.

We offer a space for you to expand as an artist and contribute to circus discourse and practice. We strive to support both you who want to reinvigorate and deepen your artistic practice in the field as well as you who want to prepare for a PhD in artistic research.
