Overview
The Professional Practice - Integrated Care program at University of Suffolk offers students the opportunity to build upon their existing knowledge of health and care, which will enhance their daily professional practice as leaders of integrated services.
It will also enable them to incorporate academically informed, evidence-based performance in the workplace, thereby changing attitudes and perceptions and encouraging new approaches that support health and care delivery. Contemporary practice signifies a distinct shift toward integrated care for preventive, outcome-based health and care solutions that meet the needs of people, stakeholders, and governance requirements. This course is designed to provide learning that promotes inclusive, values-based, and sustainable care delivery within a political and evidence-based context.
This Master's program is designed to empower students to contextualize, lead, and transform integrated care services to enhance the quality of outcomes for individuals, professionals, and organizations. Students will develop enhanced leadership and coaching skills, along with a critical understanding of public health and care complexities, in both regional and national contexts. Collaborating with other students will provide an opportunity to generate insights and explore professional experiences to enrich learning and insights from the health and care arena. Applicants would be expected to be employed within a relevant role in the health and care sector.
