The program covers the design, modeling, control, and operation of electrical energy systems, taking sustainability perspectives into account. The course also prepares students for decentralized generation from renewable energy sources, sector coupling across all energy sectors, and related energy market concepts.
All courses are taught in English. The Master's program includes an industrial internship to apply knowledge to practical problems. In the final semester, students work full-time on their Master's thesis for six months. Collaborative work in seminars, tutorials, labs, and project groups strengthens their skills. The international environment with students from various countries will broaden their horizons and enable them to interact respectfully in international teams and organizations.
