Building Information Modelling VILNIUS TECH

Overview

The aim of the Master's Degree Program in Building Information Modelling at  VILNIUS TECH is to provide specialized engineering knowledge and develop specialized engineering skills to perform the functions of BIM manager required to design and implement a construction project or manage already built assets, as well as to enhance the state-of-the-art achievements in engineering information modeling in technology and management.

What competencies will I acquire?

The Master's Degree in Building Information Modeling Program is designed to develop the following student skills:

• to choose and apply innovative information technology solutions in the fields of design, construction and property management; plan and implement digitization solutions in the construction sector;
• to prepare and coordinate the development parts of the integrated construction project; organize and carry out the construction and manufacturing/production processes, perform the maintenance and management of the built property using information modeling;
• to develop BIM implementation strategy at both company and project level; identify, initiate and execute processes; monitor and educate changes in the work culture.

What are my possible career pathways?

• Working as a BIM manager of building and infrastructure information modeling, BIM project coordinator, BIM expert, BIM consultant in builders 'and developers' organizations, property management companies, design, contracting and manufacturing companies of various profiles, both in the private and public sector;
• Pursuing doctoral studies.
