Overview
The first year builds on the Biology curriculum of École polytechnique’s engineering programme, covering genomics, immunology, neurobiology, biophotonics, and biomechanics. It concludes with a 4- to 6-month research internship.
The second year of this Biology and Health programme from Institut Polytechnique de Paris explores structural biology, bioinformatics, proteomics, and synthetic biology, with courses co-taught by Paris-Saclay University. A 6-month internship in leading research institutions (CNRS, INSERM, INRA, CEA, INRIA, etc.) completes the programme.
This programme aims to enable students to:
Prepare for doctoral research in biology;
Acquire a high-level multidisciplinary education;
Integrate molecular and cellular biology with practical research experience.
