Overview
Students of the Design course from Institut Polytechnique de Paris can experience workshops and theoretical courses aiming at building a personal research practice in any discipline of design (industrial design, graphic design architecture, human-computer interaction, etc.)
The programme aims to:
- Train students with design/engineering background towards the development of practice-based scientific research skills;
- Train students to the specificities of design as a research discipline : epistemology, methods, concepts;
- Develop a research project that can be published or presented in a scientific conference, preparing therefore students to a research career.

- Completion of a Bachelor degree (or equivalent) or the first year of a Master's program (M1) in Design (all domains), architecture, engineering or any related domain. The course is open to a wide range of profiles, but candidates must be able to demonstrate intensive experience of projects.
