Overview
After a first year offering a wide range of basic and more specialized courses in applied mathematics and statistics, the second year is dedicated to specializations in the Applied Mathematics and Statistics course from Institut Polytechnique de Paris majors.
At the forefront of research and industry, the programme addresses critical data science challenges, including managing big data, ensuring privacy, and building interpretable models. Graduates are equipped to innovate in data science, trend prediction, decision automation, and healthcare.
This program aims to enable students to:
• Acquire a solid foundation in applied mathematics for doctoral studies or immediate employment;
• Explore applied mathematics and address current unsolved challenges;
• Foster a deep connection to research and handson experience in research labs or in business.
For students who wish to pursue a PhD after their master’s degree, the program is affliated with two distinct PhD track programs: one in Mathematics and the other in Data and AI for early research immersion. These PhD track programs offer excellence scholarships and registration fee waivers.
