Overview

The Engineering - Quality Management (online) program at Turku University of Applied Sciences (TUAS) is a programme strongly connected to the world of work, which gives students the opportunity to grow into experts in the field of quality and continuous improvement. The aim of the studies is to develop and deepen the student's professional skills and competencies in a quality framework. The studies strongly support the student’s development into demanding expert and supervisor jobs.

In the Quality Management programme, the study assignments as well as the master's thesis are related to student's work. Therefore, the employer organization will also benefit from the studies and will have a great opportunity to develop the quality management tools and methods in the organization.

Career opportunities

By the time the student graduates, they will have created new knowledge and reformed the world of work with the Master's thesis work. The student's network has possibly expanded both in Finland and globally. In addition, the student has developed their expertise and acquired tools for advancing their career. When applying to a UAS Master's degrees, an applicant must have an earlier higher education degree and at least two years of work experience completed after the degree.

Selection methods used in the Turku UAS' Bachelor's programmes in the joint application:

Certificate-based selection (UAS Bachelor Degree completed in Finland) – 50% of study places
GMAT/GRE test selection – 50% of study places
