The Master's Degree in Hotel Management, taught in association with the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, aims to provide a strategic and global vision of a manager for the development of skills for professional practice in international hotel groups, in their functional management structures, including the capabilities technical in the financial, strategic and commercial, communicational and cultural, and technical-operational dimensions (accommodation, food and beverages, maintenance, security, quality, human resources).

Overview

This master's degree from University of Madeira is organized into credit units and structured into 4 semesters. A first year of academic activities and a second year is aimed at preparing a dissertation, in a specific field of hotel and restaurant activity and management and administration, or, alternatively, developing and applying specific skills in a professional context, through carrying out an internship or through the development of a project in the areas of hotels and restaurants and management and administration.

- Copy of ID card or passport
- Declaration under oath that the candidate does not have Portuguese nationality nor is covered by the provisions of numbers 2 and 3 of article 3 of Decree-Law no. 36/2014, of March 10, as currently worded
- Secondary education diploma or equivalent, or, if the academic qualification does not correspond to the Portuguese secondary education, a document proving that it allows, in the country where it was obtained, access to higher education
- Course syllabuses and other documents that prove the subjects taught and obtained by the candidates (not applicable when presenting proof of national exams in your country)
- Proof of completion of national exams in your country (ENEM for candidates from Brazil)
- Documentary evidence attesting proficiency in the language the study cycle is taught
- Proof that the candidate holds the Prerequisites (where applicable)
