Overview
To ensure that Istanbul Technical University is the first Turkish university to provide polar education within the Union of Universities in the Polar Regions, especially in the Arctic Region, to evaluate the potential within ITU with the interdisciplinary Master's program and to ensure that scientists working on the subject are united on a common platform, to ensure that the National Marine Research Programme.
Overview
Considering the target of Strengthening Research Manpower Capacity and Employment in Marine Sciences as the marine research priority of UDAP in our country, ensuring the importance of the proposed Master's program in oceanographic studies related to the Polar Regions, ITU students being at a good level as they come from the first percentile in the university exam, ITU Their aim is to ensure that they receive good education and choose postgraduate programs in Turkey, making a significant contribution to Turkey's development in Polar Sciences.
