Transformation projects must be mastered at all levels of the hierarchy across all specialist departments. Today's transformation is largely fueled by digitalization, climate change and changing values. You will learn about these drivers and reflect on them in such a way that you can design possible future scenarios. During your studies, you will acquire methodological personality and social skills in particular for the critical and scientifically sound design of future transformation processes.

The interdisciplinary approach is special in this Transformation degree at THWS - Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt. You will be accompanied by lecturers from six faculties of the THWS as well as many experts from practice. In the first semester, the focus is on the fundamental understanding of why people find it so difficult to transform processes, structures, value propositions and/or business models under volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous conditions. Building on this, students can test the leadership and management methods taught in projects at the university in the second semester before they can apply their understanding and methodological knowledge in transformation projects in organizations outside the university in the third semester.
