Graduates of the Agricultural Sciences and Technology program at University of Catania acquire, with a high level of basic cultural preparation, excellent mastery of the scientific method of investigation, and in-depth knowledge of the agricultural environment and agroecosystems with their main variables, in order to manage the continuous adaptation of the agricultural production system, plant cultivations and technological innovations.

Students with a bachelor's degree or university diploma lasting three years in the following classes are eligible for the Master's degree program in Agricultural Sciences and Technologies (LM-69):

Agricultural and Forestry Sciences and Technologies
Biotechnology
Biological Sciences
Territorial, Urban, Landscape and Environmental Planning Sciences
Food Sciences and Technologies
Chemical Sciences and Technologies
Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technologies
Environmental and Nature Sciences and Technologies
Zootechnical Sciences and Animal Production Technologies

and with at least 50 CFU credits in one or more of the following scientific-disciplinary sectors (SSD): AGR, BIO, CHIM, FIS, ICAR, INF, ING-INF, MAT, SECS-P, and VET.

Students who will obtain a bachelor's degree or another equivalent degree obtained abroad and recognized as suitable, may also apply to the Master's degree program.
