Overview
Our goal is to educate professionals who are ready not only to efficiently use modern computational methods, but to lead in the development and application of mathematical methods and computational tools in science and industry.
Learning outcomes
Students will:
- gain in-depth knowledge of continuum mechanics, mathematical modeling and modern numerical methods; learn how to develop scientific software and use modern software products, including open-source software; be able to specialize in various fields of computational fluid dynamics, modeling of multiphase and reacting flows, computational engineering and methods of applied machine learning
- learn how to turn the results of scientific research into a commercial product through courses on technology entrepreneurship, launching startups based on deep-tech and digital technologies, using AI and machine learning for entrepreneurship and innovation
- have a good understanding of the needs of modern high-tech industries through participation in joint research projects with industrial partners; gain experience in conducting interdisciplinary joint research with national and international colleagues

The 2-year program is comprised compulsory and recommended elective courses on the most important topics, a wide range of elective courses (depending on the student's research and professional needs), components of entrepreneurship and innovation, research activity and 8 weeks of industrial immersion.

- Relevant bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, in mechanics, applied mathematics, physics or computational science
- An online application via the form on our website and payment of the application fee.
- A motivation letter (Statement of Purpose).
- A resume (CV) detailing your education, work experience, and research activities.
- Two letters of recommendation from professors or employers relevant to your chosen program. Letters must be in English and include the recommender’s contact details (phone and/or email). Please attach copies of the originals along with the English translation if needed. Notarization is not required.
- If available: Official English test scores (e.g., TOEFL, Duolingo English Test, “Lingvotest” testing system) — unless English is the only official language of your country of citizenship.
