You will study the connected global economy and the institutions involved in its formation and functioning. You will be able to understand the role of national governments and supranational bodies and examine how different economic and trading systems affect people's lives in both developed and developing countries. You will learn how individual local economies fit into the global economic environment.
You will study international trade, the relationships between foreign investment, innovation, and multinational companies, and business skills used in international trade. In most of the courses, you will also meet practitioners in the form of invited lectures, giving you insight into the practical application of the issues discussed. The knowledge and skills from the studied subjects are intertwined and complement each other.
The International Trade and Business study programme from Czech University of Life Sciences Prague is primarily based on a personalized approach, which enables students to develop their preferred competencies, especially in relation to the topic of their thesis.
