Aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the MSc Global Environmental Sustainability focuses on sustainability challenges and how we can develop localised solutions by looking at a range of place-based case studies.

Through a combination of course content and your final project, you'll be able to develop a range of transferrable skills that expands your career options, such as:

model scenario interpretation and systems thinking
data gathering and analysis
problem articulation and solution design
literature and sustainability plan evaluation
research communication
GIS (geographical information systems)
critical appraisal of the ethics of sustainability solutions
interdisciplinary thinking to develop solutions for action
