As part of this Advanced Engineering Management programme at Leeds Beckett University , you’ll:

Study the core engineering fields of control and simulation to understand, predict, and manage the behaviour of complex systems

Learn to apply solutions to complex problems in the context of modern engineering design, lean and agile production, and highly automated systems

Study management and research modules alongside engineering modules to build your skills in project management and independent research

This course sits at the intersection of several disciplines and will open the door to a wide range of potential careers. You could apply your engineering skills to complex problems which require strong management and team-building skills to solve. You’ll be a strong project manager with skills in lean and agile engineering, and process optimal ion. You'll be able to apply for job roles such as:

Alternatively, you could use your understanding of complex systems to tackle new problems, many of which are already at, the cutting-edge of engineering knowledge. You could then choose to undertake further study at PhD level, or look for specialist roles including digital engineer, process engineer, controls engineer and senior project engineer.
