Overview
The Department of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, the School of Social Sciences of the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr, and the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Studies, College of Humanities of the University of Sulaimany have combined their forces to establish and operate the International Joint Master’s Degree Programme Leadership: Ethics and Politics.
Goals
The specific goals of the Leadership Ethics and Politics programme from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) are:
- To foster the knowledge, skills and dispositions consistent with leadership.
- To provide the skills needed to address successfully domestic, international, and global challenges.
- To provide in-depth knowledge of contemporary perspectives, practices, mindsets and issues related to leadership and governance.
- To cultivate the ability to formulate, propose and evaluate strategies for organizational leadership.
- To foster active and critical engagement with the policy environment, professional practice and scholarly literature relevant to leadership.
- To allow students to master core leadership capacities, such as executive functioning, self-awareness, decision-making, reflection on practice, collaborative action inquiry, reading, and participation in leadership networks.
- To make students confident in their leadership, administering, and governance prowess and effective in solving complex organizational challenges.
