Legal Practice from Edge Hill University provides you with the knowledge and skills needed to sit the Solicitors Qualifying Exams (SQE1 and SQE2) and prepares you for life in the legal profession.

Whilst the programme is tailored towards students wishing to pursue a career as a solicitor, the programme will provide you with a broad range of transferable skills, allowing you to embark on career opportunities in legal and non-legal sectors.

Programme Structure

How you'll study

This course is designed to allow for flexible learning. Face-to-face tuition will occur at Edge Hill University every two weeks. BARBRI-delivered content is delivered online asynchronously (not in real time), allowing you to study at a convenient time for you.
BARBRI provide an AI-empowered online platform (Intuitive Study Assistant and Coach (ISAAC)), which supports your learning, helping you to keep track of content, engage with practice questions and assess your individual skills performance.
We also want you to feel supported when studying which is why BARBRI provide supervision and immediate feedback from expert tutors and offer individual online mentor support from a qualified solicitor. You will also have your very own online personal study plan and will be able to access 1:1 meetings, exam skill workshops and group strategy or consolidation sessions to help you with your learning and exam success.
