General requirements

Applicants should have at least a second class honours degree in the cognate subject of Health. Applicants who do not meet this academic requirement are advised to undertake the Professional Profile Development modules in order to apply for recognition for prior (experiential) learning.

You should also have a minimum of 2 years post registration experience and be able to demonstrate through your personal statement that you have developed professionally to a level that prepares you for an advanced clinical role.

You are required to provide evidence of support from an appropriate work based practice assessor and a practice supervisor for support in developing the advanced clinical practice competencies.

Applicants will need to satisfy the requirements for access to the Non-Medical Prescribing module as stipulated by the NMC/HCPC.

Your application should be supported by two references, either academic or professional.
