Why choose this program?

The Juris Doctor - Master of Industrial Relations (JD/MIR) from Queen's University offers a limited number of admissions to this combined program. Applications must be made for JD admission through OLSAS and concurrently for admission to the graduate degree through the School of Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs.

An option to complete the combined degree programs in three years is available to students who are selected for and complete successfully an International Law Program at the Bader College in the spring term of the first year of the combined program. Students will be assisted by the Career Development Office to seek summering positions and students will pursue the licensing process and articling after graduation.

Concurrent applications for admission must be made to the Faculty of Law through OLSAS and to Queen's School of Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs for admission as a graduate student in the first year in the combined program.

Competitive JD/MIR applicants must have completed a four-year honours undergraduate degree and achieved an A- average or 3.7 GPA in the last two years.
LSAT score ≥ 160 (80th percentile).
