The retail sector is a key economic sector and makes a significant contribution to regional value creation. A shortage of skilled workers, climate change and increasing cost and efficiency pressure are presenting new challenges for the retail sector and accelerating the need for technical innovations. As a result, there is an urgent need for experts who can act as an interface between engineers and business people and thus drive sustainable, economic, social and ecological development in the retail sector. On the Master's degree course in Retail and Technology*, you will acquire the key skills for this role.

A deep understanding of the green and digital transformation of our economy and society.Academically sound knowledge of the central topics of applied retail sciences and thus a deep understanding of all aspects of retail managementAn understanding of the technologies and machines used in retail that goes beyond the pure user role - academically sound and practically applied.Understanding of the prevailing data structure in retail and all relevant analysis methods - from business intelligence to artificial intelligenceThe Master's program promotes the gradual acquisition of skills. Building on business and/or technical skills previously acquired in a Bachelor's degree, the program expands your knowledge and skills in the field of retail and technology management in a modular way.
