A potential learner should possess a Postgraduate Diploma or an Honours Degree in Agriculture or relevant qualification on NQF level 8. Admission to the Master’s degree will be subject to a review process. A student must have a 60% average at Postgraduate/Honours level. The student must have passed Research Methodology course with a minimum of 60%.

Alternatively, under exceptional circumstances, any other qualification or related experience that is considered relevant and sufficient by the Agricultural programme (CUT) may be considered.
