The Master of Kinesiology from University of Waterloo offers a state-of-the-art education with a flexible curriculum that combines interdisciplinary coursework with Work-Integrated-Learning (WIL) through a one-term, 420-hour experiential practicum in a workplace setting. This one-of-a-kind one-year program will allow you to customize your degree and create a graduate experience that’s right for you. You’ll gain invaluable hands-on work experience with experiential practicum opportunities provided by the department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences and their partner organizations where you’ll build professional skills and network to fast-track your career goals. Our kinesiology graduate courses also allow you to explore a wide variety of topics in the field, so that you can align your professional goals and interests.

Program highlights

Work experience and networking opportunities through a one-term 420-hour experiential practicum. Plenty of extracurricular learning and networking opportunities provided through participation in department-wide and stream-specific seminars.  Students are matched with an academic advisor that assists with developing an individualized sequence of courses and experiences that align with their career goals.
