Overview
Complex Systems and Policy (CS&P) graduates from University of Amsterdam will be able to analyse societal challenges related to sustainability and health and translate these into concrete, innovative policy proposals by cooperating with different stakeholders. It combines a variety of academic disciplines, including social sciences, data science, behavioural science and modeling.
From day one, students engage with external partners such as municipalities, ministries, NGOs, and businesses, preparing them for the challenges they will face in their careers. This challenge-based learning allows students to act as a bridge between science and policy and teaches them to collaborate with different partners with conflicting interests. It works in close collaboration with the Institute for Advanced Study (IAS).
