Overview

The Molecular Biology and Genetics with Thesis programme from Baskent University accepts applications from graduates of various undergraduate programmes with a theoretical and practical background in basic molecular biology/biology, as well as from fields related to life sciences and relevant engineering and health sciences. The language of instruction is 100% English. Accepted students are required to provide a foreign language certificate, and those who do not have a certain level of English proficiency are required to take English preparatory courses.

Have a positive attitude toward interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary solutions of problem areas for community welfare, and accordingly work in a team of different professions, and share results of scientific research with the people from different educational background.

Have the necessary Turkish and English oral and writing communication skills for the presentation and discussion of the scientific knowledge.

Unless a written excuse is presented, enrolment procedures have to be carried out by the students themselves individually. The process is administered by the Student Registrar’s Office.
