Upon successful completion of this program, graduates will be able to:

Design a professional modern website.
Implement their UX/UI design using an understanding of front-end development, and programming languages (E.g. HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript).
Design and implement the architecture required to support the business requirements using an MVC design pattern in a flexible back-end development language
Set up a local server for application data storage
Configure cloud resources for the data storage of the application
Transition a local server data storage solution to a cloud server
Identify and mitigate security risks for both an on-premise and cloud server

Academic Requirements

International students are required to hold a minimum of an undergraduate degree or a 2-year diploma. (Applicants with a 2-year diploma must have one additional year of work experience to be eligible.)
- Bachelor Degree in an IT or Computer Science related discipline and minimum one year of work experience
- Bachelor Degree and minimum one year of technical experience working in IT (programming or software development preferred)
The Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) or Final Percentage on these transcripts will be assessed for eligibility.
- If a higher degree is attained (post-graduate diploma, Master’s, or PhD) the minimum GPA or Percentage must be attained in all degrees.

Work experience

Work Experience

If applicant has completed an IT degree, with courses including HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, SQL, within the last two years, no work experience is required.
For all other applicants, a Bachelor’s degree is required, along with a minimum of one year of experience working in IT, with a preference for experience with HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, SQL. Internship placements can be counted toward the minimum work experience requirement.
