Academic requirements

GPA

Applicants who do not meet standard admission requirements may be considered under the Faculty of Education’s Flexible Admissions Policy if they show strong potential for success. This includes those with:

A degree earned 10+ years ago and a GPA of 2.0–2.5, plus 10+ years of relevant experience

No degree but 10+ years of relevant experience

Extenuating circumstances (e.g., disability) explaining a low GPA or no degre

The Admissions Committee reviews prior learning and accomplishments to assess readiness. Ideal applicants have a GPA of 3.0+ overall or in the last 60 credits. Conditional admission may be offered to those with a GPA of 2.5–2.99.
