Overview
Computer Engineering at German Jordanian University (GJU) – Amman combines the knowledge, skills, and discoveries in electrical engineering and computer science to build real-life computer systems. It covers several technology fields including computer hardware, embedded systems, wireless communication, image processing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, internet of things (IoT), big data analysis, big data visualization, cloud for AI, robotics programming, parallel and distributed programming, and web/mobile computing.
Computer engineers play a key role in almost all industries, such as telecommunication, information technology, banking and financial services, software industry, government and city services, aerospace industry, goverment, health care, education, and manufacturing. The advent of computers has facilitated a systems approach to solving many problems in science, business, and industry.
