Overview

This course-based major gives you knowledge of popular tools and techniques and opportunities to apply them to develop a portfolio to showcase your abilities, including an experiential project where you can apply your knowledge to real-world problems or opportunities.

Students majoring in Information Systems can only pursue the Business Analytics Concentration. The Information Systems area does not offer the thesis route in the MSc program. Students with a major in any business discipline or management can be considered for the Information Systems major.

Career pathways for Business Analysts include data analyst, business consultant, portfolio manager, and quantitative analyst.
