Overview
The Advanced Computer Science programme at the Oxford Brookes University is for recent graduates and those with substantial experience in the computing industry. You will gain a qualification which develops your expertise. And you'll have the opportunity to put the skills you have gained into practice by taking an optional, one year placement.
These projects include:
- web technology combining networking, human computer interface and intelligent systems
- high speed networks using concepts from artificial intelligence requiring intelligent front ends.

General requirements
- You should normally hold a first degree equivalent to at least a British lower second class bachelor's degree in a computer-related subject. If your first degree is not in computing but you have worked in the computing industry you can also be considered.
- For entry onto the Postgraduate Certificate Research Project you should be able to provide evidence of experience in research and study methods at an appropriate level.
