General requirements
- Students with a four year non-Canadian degree interested in the Master of Accounting program must first complete the Diploma in Intermediate Accounting (DIAc). The DIAc is an 8-month graduate diploma to bring internationally educated students up to speed on Canadian accounting and tax practices for the MAcc.
- This program is 8 months in duration beginning in the summer term (May each year). If you complete the DIAc with a B average and no grade lower than C, you would be eligible to continue on to the Master of Accounting program, entering at Term 2. This would be a seamless transition. Completion of the MAcc would require a further 8 months of study at the end of which, you would be eligible to write the CFE.
