Overview

Students can specialise in Cognitive Neuroscience or Clinical Psychology in their choice of optional courses and dissertation. In addition, graduates from the MSc will gain a range of generic intellectual and practical skills, including initiative, self-reliance, critical ability, data science, collaboration, communicating research and presentation skills, which are easily adaptable to the needs of the labour market. Training in psychological research methods and project work will be included in the programme.

Career opportunities:

Graduates from this Psychological Science (Conversion) programme of the University of Glasgow are eligible for the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership of the British Psychological Society.
This MSc can function as a both a feeder for a PhD and as a basis for application to BPS accredited post graduate training (e.g., clinical psychology, counselling).
