Overview
The MIB programme is designed to cultivate a global mindset necessary for today’s global economic environment.
The Master in International Business (MIB) from IÉSEG School of Management is offered on a full-time basis and consists of two (fast track) or three (regular track) academic semesters followed by an internship or master thesis semester. The second part of the third semester will be delivered in an asynchronous mode so students can start their capstone project in early September of the second academic year.
The programme structure is varied to ensure that it will comply with a wide range of personal and professional objectives, and offers a mix of theory and hands-on applications to sharpen students’ skills and insights in different business contexts. Students have the possibility to partially customize the programme so that it meets their needs and interests by choosing some of the electives in their curriculum.
Career Opportunities in details
The broad skill set developed during the MIB programme offers numerous opportunities for employment in a multidisciplinary and international environment.
It provides an excellent understanding of different corporate and departmental cultures on the one hand, and divergent national cultures on the other hand. This enables students to position themselves as a hub for different stakeholders – a naturally leading role that corresponds to positions such as product manager, project manager, business consultant, and many others.
More than 80% of our graduates work in an international company, predominantly in general management functions or functions related to marketing, international commerce, logistics, and IT. They are employed in a large variety of sectors and firms, such as consulting organizations, NGOs, financial institutions, fashion and luxury companies, etc.
Accreditation
The program is accredited by EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA.
The School is authorized by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research to deliver the ‘Grade de Master’ (a State-recognized degree) for its Specialized Master Programs (“Diplôme d’Études Spécialisées en Management International”) – and to provide a registered title with the French RNCP – (code RNCP 41034).
