The studies take place in Jerusalem, one of the world’s most complex conflict zones with ongoing human rights challenges, which gives students a unique perspective to the issues being examined.
Key Facts
Moreover, the diversity of the student body – which includes Israelis, Palestinians and international students, each with their own ideas and beliefs – brings further depth and context to the program and encourages thought-provoking class discussions.
Advocating and protecting human rights, especially those of people who have been forced to flee from their homes, requires a broad range of skill sets and a profound knowledge of international law, as well as of local legislation and judicial systems in the countries of origin and host countries.
