The European Master’s Animal Biodiversity and Genomics (EMABG) from Wageningen University and Research is a 2-year study programme (120 ETCS) and builds on MSc courses that already exist in the different consortium universities. It focuses on the development of scientific expertise in the areas of quantitative, population and molecular genetics and genomics related to animal biodiversity and breeding.

General requirements
- Academic Bachelor of Science Degree (minimum 180 ECTS) in animal science. An equivalent degree from related fields, such as agricultural sciences, veterinary medicine, zoology, botany, microbiology or similar is also accepted, if basics of genetics or animal breeding knowledge is documented in the transcript of records.
- Language Proficiency: A good knowledge of English is a prerequisite for an application.
