International MBA at NTHU
Many international students and classes in English. Most of the professors in MBA program did their PhD in US or UK, so teaching methods and communication is good. There are many activities in campus regarding students association, but mostly in Chinese. Many international visiting scholars from different countries. I would recommend because of diversity and also studying methods. You have a high level of freedom in terms of choosing courses, because you have only several mandatory courses and many elective. You could also take courses from neighbor university, which is National Yang Ming Chao Tung University. Overall stuff is friendly and helpful, good resources such as big library, new equipment, good sport facilities. Living experiences are not too high, there are many options regarding scholarship, from Taiwan government and Ministry of Education of from school. They could provide tuition waiver and monthly stipend. Also campus is big and very beautiful, many dorms to live in. Accommodation is not expensive if you choose a shared room. In campus there are many restaurants and food options, also near campus many restaurants as well. Dining in Hsinchu is not expensive, especially in school canteens. Many sport teams you could join such as football, basketball, volleyball etc. Also you can have many options if you want to take PE lessons. There are swimming pool, gym, stadium, tennis courts in the campus.
It's a good program
1. Courses are not challenging, and most students can complete their degree in four years. 2. Except for the Compulsory courses, it is quite free in course selection. 3. The equipment is neither old nor new. 4. Some professors are kind, willing to help Students solve their problems. 5. The Internet in some classrooms needs to be improved. 6. The wind in Hsinchu is pretty strong. Be careful.
Review of Tribhuwan University
