The Mediterranean Institute of Management (MIM)

Τhe Student Welfare Service (SWS) operates under the Administrative Services of the Institute and is staffed by two officers. The SWS provides services and assistance to students during their studies at the MIM by furnishing them with valid and timely information and support for solving problems and difficulties encountered.

The MIM is a holder of an Erasmus Charter for Higher Education-ECHE and operates an Erasmus+ Office to provide information on mobility opportunities to the students, teaching and administrative staff of the Institute. Those interested to participate in a mobility opportunity should contact the Erasmus+ Officer for information and assistance in filling in the relevant applications.

The MIM does not provide student housing services as it does not own student halls. However, the Student Welfare Service (SWS) assists students with accommodation issues, helping them to find private accommodation. It is estimated that the cost of living is around €8.000 to €10.000 yearly for accommodation and personal expenses.

The MIM Library is located on the first floor of the main building in Nicosia, room No 25.  Students also have access to online libraries via the Cypriot Libraries.

 Access to EBSCOhost Databases is also available, covering a wide range of science fields, in cooperation with the Library of the University of Cyprus. The passwords for the EBSCO Database are available from the Secretariat.

Yes, the MIM provides IT support. The IT Administrator manages and oversees the IT systems of the MIM. He is responsible for the procurement, installation, security and functionality of the IT equipment and provides support to the users of the IT systems and the MIM electronic Platform (Moodle). The IT Administrator is accountable to the Director.

The MIM does not provide on campus healthcare facilities but the Student Welfare Services are alert to help with any healthcare issues that may occur. Additionally, the students and all members of the staff are informed about the Action Plan for Fire and Emergency Fire Incidents of the Productivity Centre and are invited to take part in relevant training, at the beginning of the academic year.
