History
The history of Caucasus University began in 1998 when Caucasus School of Business was established. Its motto is "Studium Pretium Libertatis".
Education
- CU consists of various schools: Business, Law, Media, Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences, Governance, Tourism, Medicine and HealthCare, New Cinema and Economics Schools. The university has the legal right to award standard and diplomacy specialist qualifications based on Georgian legislation: bachelors, masters and PhD degrees. There are also various certificate programs available at CU, including short study courses.
- Courses are delivered by internationally qualified lecturers which ensures the preparation of highly-qualified specialists in various spheres.
Research
- Caucasus University Research Facilitation Department aims to coordinate research activities within the university. Academic Writing Center is a structural unit of Research Facilitation Department. Main objectives of this Center are: Coordinate teaching process of Academic Writing Course within the University, support academic skills development and academic integrity software implementation.
- For this purpose, department supports research units and schools, as well as individual initiatives of the academic and scientific staff.

Caucasus University review
My experience has been largely positive. The faculty is knowledgeable and passionate, providing a diverse range of courses that challenge and inspire critical thinking in the field of International Relations. The campus life is vibrant, with numerous student organizations and events that foster social engagement and cultural exchange. Support services, such as academic advising and career counseling, are readily available and helpful, guiding my academic journey effectively. The university promotes internships and volunteer opportunities, which have been instrumental in developing my skills in dialogue facilitation and community engagement.

Housing services
Caucasus University supports student with additional information regarding accommodations. Our friendly team is willing to support international students with additional information to find the safest and the cheapest dormitories. Generally, the cost of a room in a shared flat is approximately 100-150Euro per person.
Library services
Caucasus University library collection contains textbooks, reference books in English, Georgian, Turkish and French languages in various field.
Students can borrow textbooks from the library for the courses they are taking during the semester and must return them by the end of educational program, on the contrary, appropriate diploma/certificate will not be issued.
Campus life
The University with its modern infrastructure and equipment is one of the largest higher educational institutions in Georgia and in southern Caucasus. It began a new academic year of 2017-2018 in a new campus, which is a historical building built in 1909 and in which 1911-1924 Armenian Seminary was functioning. The building has been in possession of CU since 2005; however, it was under reconstruction for a few years and has retained its historic character; so the evidence of its age is not lost.

Accreditation
At the decision of the Accreditation Board of the National Center for Education Quality Enhancement of Georgia – on December 30, 2014, Caucasus University was awarded a status of the educational institution (University) for five years; the students quota for the University is 4,000.
