Research
As a University of Applied Sciences, H-BRS is intensively involved in practical research. A total of 17 research institutes cover a wide range of topics from detection technologies, genetics, sustainable development, resource conservation, security research and visual computing. In addition, the university conducts extensive research in cooperation with regional and national industry and has founded the Centre for Applied Research, where companies can rent space at the university for research questions.
Career

Intense 18‑month master
Good place for Master students especially international students. The program is quite intense but can be finished in 1.5 years for Business related major I think. The campus is modern enough and actually I quite enjoy the online time as well during covid time.
An Ideal University for Practical Learning
I am a second-semester Masters in Marketing student at Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg in Germany. Choosing this University of Applied Sciences over other universities must have been one of the best decisions I have made. As an applied sciences university, the students are taught more practical skills rather than just theory. This practical approach is exactly what I was looking for in a Master's program in Germany. The entire course is designed in such a way that students are exposed to real-life case studies and marketing projects. Most of the assignments are group-oriented tasks, which helps students work together and learn from each other. Apart from the academic benefits, the university offers excellent infrastructure, including a vast library with numerous books and other reading materials. However, I wish the university provided more extracurricular activities. Although they have student clubs and other initiatives, there is a lack of sufficient opportunities for all students to engage more with the university.
Learn to see the world and understand differently
I am very pleased with my studies at Bonn University in Germany. Our master's program is conducted with a high level of professionalism and utilizes modern teaching methods, providing us with an excellent academic experience. Additionally, the people here and the environment are incredibly friendly, making it a great place to study and grow. I highly recommend Bonn University to all students who wish to pursue a master's degree in chemistry. The university also offers a variety of opportunities for students, including language courses, different events, and many other activities that enrich both academic and social life
