History
PFH Private University of Applied Sciences was recognised by the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Culture in 1995. The incentive for its foundation was the idea of a purely privately funded university that offers a study programme aligned to the real needs of the economy. In 2007, PFH received institutional accreditation from the Central Evaluation and Accreditation Agency (ZEvA).
Education
As a university run on entrepreneurial lines, the training of entrepreneurial new blood is an essential cornerstone of the PFH's orientation. The activities pertaining to this topic area are concentrated in the ZE Zentrum für Entrepreneurship (Centre for Entrepreneurship). Imparting entrepreneurship content or an ability to act entrepreneurially as a key qualification cuts across all the PFH's departments.
Research
Through its research institutes and activities, PFH is building up expert knowledge, thereby raising its profile not only in teaching, but also in science. Numerous projects, publications, conferences, and talks by professors and their research assistants take place throughout the year. The continuing expansion of these research activities is at the very top of the agenda of University development.
Career
If you decide on a study programme at PFH, you are making the right choice for your professional future. Our graduates are particularly sought after by employers on account of the practical nature of the study programme: many students start their first job immediately after completing their studies, as they are optimally prepared for the world of work and can therefore assume responsibility quickly.

Admission and Innovations
Admission into this Institution of Learning was by merit and not vice versa. It is a great Institution to acquire Higher Education of any sort. I enjoy to a large extent the practical aspect of training made available to all Engineering students to gain hands-on experience in our various lines of study. Furthermore, an entrepreneurial training and skill acquisition center was also introduced to help introduce students to being self-employed and employers of labor. Development was a continuous business as there was always construction of new and modern classrooms for convenient Lecturing and learning process.
Stressful
Is a nice school, and what I dislike about it, is they like stressing student which I think is very overwhelming sometimes, what I like is the school neatness is second to none, topnotch and yes I will recommend the school, is a school you have to be mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically ready to attend it
