History
The university traces its origin back to the year of 1925, when a group of students and academics from St. John's University in Shanghai, led by the prominent scholar Zhang Shouyong, left the school and founded the Kwang Hua University (Guanghua University) in Shanghai.

A Premier Institution for International Relations
As a third-year student majoring in international relations at South-West University Neofit Rilski, I am thoroughly impressed with the high standard of education and the exceptional professionalism of the faculty. My experience here has been overwhelmingly positive, and I believe the university provides an outstanding environment for students who are passionate about understanding global dynamics. The curriculum is well-structured, offering a comprehensive blend of theoretical knowledge and practical applications. The professors are not only experts in their fields but also dedicated educators who go above and beyond to ensure that students grasp complex concepts. Their commitment to fostering critical thinking and encouraging open dialogue has been instrumental in my academic growth. I enter the school without knowledge about Nursing or medical field and school was able to fed enough knowledge that i need to learn
My experience in studying in SWU is quiet good. I was able to learn the things i need to learn as a nursing student and their teaching technique is effective for the students
