Training, campus, diversity of faculty
Despite the fact EICAR is expensive, trainings are good. We learn through projects. We can easily make contacts because of the various people who are in the school. Finally, we can take part of many workshops run by professionals.
Not enough classes, too many things to learn
The courses are only one week per month, and we are supposed to learn a very large amount of knowledge in a very short amount of time. Moreover, the teachers are not teachers, they are professionals , so in a way it is a good thing because they know the reality of the work, they can share their experience. But it is also a negative point, because they are not always very good at teaching, explaining things to students that are beginners in the discipline, so it can be difficult for the students to have them as teachers. The only thing I liked is my work experience, because I learned a lot.
Housing services
Paris is a vibrant city and the perfect place for a film student with weekly theatrical releases of French, international and independent cinema.
We are excited for you to explore the city and choose where you feel most at home.
While housing in Paris can be challenging, it is not impossible, and there are several resources available to make your search easier.
We highly recommend that you research accommodation options as early as possible. Common types of accommodations are student housing, private apartment rentals, living with a host family.
Accreditation
Our Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Fine Arts in Filmmaking are accredited by EABHES (European Association of Higher Education Schools) which allow you to pursue your studies in universities worldwide, should you wish to further your worldwide education.
