History
Since it was chartered as a full-fledged university in 1977, An-Najah has promoted the acquisition of modern knowledge whilst remaining committed to the transmission and preservation of Palestinian history, heritage and culture.
Education
An-Najah is comprised of 11 faculties located throughout the different campuses, offering 108 Bachelor degree programs. It also offers 67 Masters' programs and 8 PhD programs.
Research
The Deanship of Scientific Research is currently planning to globalize research activities in Palestine. Work is underway to have both research journals indexed and abstracted in international indexing houses. Expansion of boards of editors is also underway, which will include professors from outside Palestine.
Career
An-Najah National University is dedicated to providing strong support for the personal, and professional development of its students in accordance with its mission and vision. To achieve this goal, we aim to support students in the continual development of a variety of skills to develop their personalities and to enhance their future careers.
In doing so the University is committed to providing opportunities and support for all of its students to achieve their full potential, both personally and professionally. There is a range of training provision offered by the University's training units and centers which covers research, academic and transferable (career) skills.

Reflecting on My Experience in Artificial Intellig
What i liked: The program offers a well-rounded curriculum that covers essential topics, providing a solid foundation in both theoretical concepts and practical applications. The professors are knowledgeable and passionate about AI, often incorporating real-world examples and cutting-edge research into their lectures, which makes the learning experience more engaging and relevant. There’s a strong sense of community among students and faculty. What i didn't like: As I have completed my second year, I’ve found that some of the more advanced AI courses are only available in the later stages of the program. This sometimes makes it challenging to delve deeper into specialized areas of interest earlier on. Occasionally, the pace of the courses can be quite fast, making it difficult to fully absorb and master each topic before moving on to the next. More time for hands-on practice and application of concepts would be beneficial. While the university has good facilities, there could be more access to supplementary learning resources, such as additional online courses or industry partnerships, to further enhance the practical learning experience.
Academic Quality
The academic program is impressive, with knowledgeable professors who share real-world experience in the classroom. Courses cover in-depth analysis of media content, production methods, laws, ethics, and the cultural influence of media. Students are urged to think critically and creatively, developing a strong grasp of the media field.

Library services
The University libraries contain more than 265.381 books; 302.139 of which are electronic, as well as more than 78.055 electronic journals.
Medical services
An-Najah National University Hospital aspires to combine offering medical services and medical education for university students through its diverse departments and units. Through the Hospital, An-Najah also offers health insurance for its students during their study years.
Campus life
The University consists of five campuses: the New Campus, the Old Campus, Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology, Khadouri Campus in Tulkarm (which offers programs in the fields of agriculture and veterinary medicine) and An-Najah National Hospital.
Sports facilities
The University Sports Complex, inaugurated on November 22, 2008 by President Mahmoud Abbas, is one of the most advanced sports facilities in Palestine. The Complex provides both excellent training facilities for students of the Physical Education Department, and recreational opportunities for students wishing to participate in a variety of fitness and athletic activities.

Accreditation
An-Najah University obtained accreditation by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission (AQAC) for three bachelor's programs.
