Love studying for my dream career
What I really like about studying veterinary medicine in Latvia is the strong practical focus and close connection to real animal care. Even though the facilities are more traditional, the program emphasizes hands-on experience and gives students direct exposure to clinical cases, which is invaluable. I also appreciate the supportive faculty and approachable professors. Areas that could be improved include more opportunities for international exchange or internships abroad, and additional guidance on managing the heavy workload in the early years. Expanding workshops on modern veterinary techniques could also enhance the learning experience. Overall, my study experience has been very positive. The program has challenged me academically, developed my practical skills, and strengthened my passion for veterinary medicine. It has been demanding but rewarding, giving me confidence in my future career.
Product of good academic experience
Work (part time) mixes very well with my schedule especially since im not a native. The courses are flexible enough to let me work and still have time for myself. i can earn and learn at the same time ??. Oh and i love the teachers very mindful and demure ??
University of Latvia
I wish there was much more Young teachers, with new, creative ideas how to get students interested in the studying process. Now. Business faculty has built new place for students, but I will graduate in the old building, unfortunnatelly. I really hope, that students, who get in University of Latvia Business and economics program, soon will be placed in new building, which, I believe, will have newest technologies
