University of Economics and Management (VSEM)

Students can use the opportunity of accommodation with high standard, wide range of services and good transport availability with MHD (VŠEM does not offer accommodation within colleges).

• DC Residence is a unique project, offering accommodation for students in a renovated modern building in a quiet area with all services needed for a quality university study and the subsequent relaxation.

• Experience with the operation of student accommodation abroad are transferred into the local environment, where it is offered a new European standard of student housing.

• There are 214 single rooms and 8 fully furnished apartments.

College of Economics and Management offers to all students services of two libraries (VSEM Library, CERGE-EI Library).

The VSEM Library offers access to a wide range of resources to support teaching, learning and research at VSEM. Our stock consists of some books, periodicals, standards, theses and dissertations, and other materials.

The College offers computer rooms in the campus to students. For access to computer rooms it is necessary to use a student card. All students have free access to the Internet and electronic mail. 

The Czech Republic normally recognizes all health insurances valid within EU.

Students from EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland are entitled to the provision of necessary and urgent health care free of charge.

Students are strongly recommended to have supplementary travel insurance from their country.
