• The International Office provides a wide range of services supporting all students intending to spend part of their study period abroad.

• Technische Hochschule Mannheim is a highly attractive location for international students. About 12% of our enrolled students are non-German, from more than 90 countries all over the world.

• We prepare our students for the opportunities and challenges presented by a global labor market. About a quarter of our students take advantage of the existing network of partner companies and universities to spend at least one semester abroad during their studies.  Numerous activities and institutions support our students in their efforts to gain this kind of experience.

• Mannheim has around 300,000 inhabitants from 167 nations. Openness and cultural diversity shape life in the city. The city center, known as the “Quadrate,” lies between the rivers Rhine and Neckar. Mannheim consists of 17 districts, all well connected to Technische Hochschule Mannheim by public transport. Students are encouraged to also consider housing in districts such as Neckarstadt, Jungbusch, Schwetzingerstadt, or Lindenhof. 

• The Studierendenwerk Mannheim operates about 20 student residences and offers accommodation for students of all Mannheim universities. Registration is possible up to four months before semester start; the online application is non-binding.

Campus IT (CIT) is the IT competence center of Technische Hochschule Mannheim and is one of the central facilities. It provides students, staff and professors with various information and communication systems through which study-related information is made available and offers
